Ichinose Taichi is in his senior year of high school and is acutely aware of the gap between himself and some of his peers. Mita Touma is a childhood buddy of Taichi’s, but Touma has become so well-known that Taichi keeps him at arm’s length. Then there’s Futaba Kuze, a shy, awkward girl who Taichi tries to avoid at all costs.
He finds out that Futaba has a crush on Touma one day, and she tries to seek Taichi’s assistance because she is so shy and the two boys have been friends for years. Is it, however, truly feasible for any of them to become closer to one another?
